So, it's Valentine's Day next weekend and I'm sure a lot of you will be getting dolled up for date night with your boyfriend/girlfriend/best friend(s). Me, I doubt I'll do anything particularly special, but I thought that I would share with you guys what my ideal outfit would be, if I was.

Lace Underwear Set: Bra|Knickers|Suspender Belt - PETITE Stripe Zip Back Jumper - MOTO Light Bleach Leigh Jeans - Lipstick in Fawn - GEMINI2 Patent Court Shoes

Ideally, I would wear this out for drinks or dinner. If it was more of a cinema/casual kind of date then I would just substitute the heels for flats of the same sort of colour.

What's everybody doing for Valentine's? Are you going out? Or staying in with some choccies, your duvet and a movie or two?

in the past few months, i have started to develop a series girl/style crush on kylie jenner, and i'm definitely not the only one! she has the whole "i just threw this on", "effortless", grungy kind of look going on lately and i love it. lots of denim and dresses, boots and converse.. and black. lots of black. (with a dash of plaid, here and there.) these are a few of my favourite outfits that i've seen posted on tumblr/found on pinterest.

i've never been a particularly huge fan of missguided.. it's not that i DIDN'T like the brand, i've seen plenty of people get really nice pieces from there, it's just that it was never to my taste.. until now. i went on there the other day to find a kimono that i saw sammi from beautycrush wearing in her paris vlog (it has now sold out, DAMN IT), so i thought i'd have a nose around and see what else they had to offer at the moment. these are some of the bits that i particularly liked and am planning to add to my wardrobe over the next couple of months.

AND i have just realised that, considering this was supposed to be a spring/summer wishlist, there is an awful lot of black.. in fact, everything is black. oops. i guess old habits die hard..

what's your favourite piece that i've chosen? do you think i should try and wear more colour? haha

vest top: cheap monday via tk maxx
skirt: h&m
leggings: forever 21

on a normal, spring, day i probably wouldn't wear leggings with this outfit, but here in the uk right now.. it's definitely not warm enough for bare legs!

top tip: if you're a size 6/8 and 5'4" or below, i would definitely recommend looking in the h&m kids section. i found a cardigan in the women's section, £9.99, XS, and thought BARGAIN! tried it on and it absolutely drowned me. went and had a look in the kids section, to see if they had anything similar, and they had EXACTLY the same cardigan for £5.99! i got 12-14yrs and it fits me 100 times better than the women's one! and seeing as it was a whole £4 cheaper, i thought i might as well get another in a different colour.. oops.
